How We Rank Providers

Our review pages compare providers on criteria set before any list is written, in this order of weight: physician leadership (a psychiatrist evaluates patients and oversees treatment); breadth of treatment in one practice (medication management, TMS, SPRAVATO®, ketamine therapy); insurance and TRICARE access; telepsychiatry and reach; and ease of getting a first evaluation. We verify each provider's services from its own published materials and public records. We do not use star ratings, review counts, or outcome claims, we do not rank on price, and no provider pays to be listed. Where a provider shares ownership with this publication, that is disclosed at the listing and on our disclosure page. Lists are reviewed at least twice a year; corrections are accepted through our contact page.
